TALENT & CULTURE SYMPOSIUM

Building a Sustainable Talent and Culture Ecosystem

Date  Time: 25 May 2026, 08:00 – 12:30 IST

Locations: Hilton Dublin, Charlemont Pl, Saint Kevin's, Dublin, D02 A893, Ireland

This half-day symposium explores how organisations can move beyond ad hoc development initiatives to build a talent ecosystem intentionally aligned with organisational priorities, underpinned by well-defined job architecture, robust frameworks, and efficient systems to deliver long-term organisational value.

At the heart is the synergy between job architecture, attraction and retention, and talent development.

With the right foundations, talent initiatives stop being standalone efforts and become intentionally aligned to role requirements, career pathways, and organisational priorities. Development becomes more targeted, scalable, and impactful when anchored in a shared understanding of skills, levels, and progression. Each approach plays a critical role in this ecosystem: supporting individual growth, accelerating readiness, and reinforcing the broader talent architecture, rather than operating as a disconnected intervention.

Speakers

What to expect

Come away better prepared to move beyond ad-hoc interventions and strategically build the organisational scaffolding needed to create a more sustainable talent ecosystem. Drawing on leading research, real organisational case studies, and expert insight, the symposium will feature:

  • A keynote from David Clutterbuck and Jennifer Plaister-Ten exploring the increasing level of complexity involved in building organisational capability.

  • Insights on how job architecture and organisational systems connect with talent initiatives to create the foundation for a talent ecosystem, by Eileen Hanna and Patrick Robertson.

  • A case study by Sinéad Scott, ESB Coaching and Mentoring Programme Manager, on how they have shaped culture through a sustainable, integrated coaching and mentoring programme design that has achieved EMCC Global Gold accreditation standard

  • A panel discussion with organisational leaders sharing their implementation learnings and practical experiences, including:

    • Eimear Marrinan, VP of People Experience | HubSpot;

    • Cleo McCormack, Global Co-Creation Director | Version 1

  • A framework for a unified talent strategy that drives performance, sustainability, and standards across the talent ecosystem.

  • Connecting with peers on the same journey.

With a Keynote, case study, demonstrations, and panel discussion, attendees can expect a rigorous and practice-informed interchange on how to embed development as a core organisational capability, rather than a set of discrete interventions, and how to evaluate its contribution to sustained organisational performance and long-term value creation.
